Tasting notes

A Haro classic since the 1920s, made only in good vintages; its name comes from the «imperial pint», the half-litre bottle for the English market. Vines over 40 years old in Villalba, Briones and Torremontalbo; 24 months in American (30 %) and French (70 %) oak barrels.

Red meat, hearty stews, game and cheeses (according to the winery).
