The atmosphere photographs on this website come from Unsplash and Pexels, and are used under the Unsplash Licence and the Pexels Licence, which allow free use. Even so, we want to acknowledge each photographer's work. The images have been cropped and optimised (WebP format) for the web.

We don't use Amazon product images or photos of labels or bottles from the wine shops: products are shown with text, an illustrative painting of the type of object (see below) and a link to their listing.

Illustrations on the wine cards

Each wine card has an original illustration made for this website. They are new works inspired by the style of painters such as Monet, Dalí, Munch, Kandinsky, Van Gogh, Matisse, Miró, Klimt, Cézanne, Sorolla, Hopper, Chagall, Paul Klee, Raoul Dufy, Henri Rousseau, Gauguin, Signac and Bonnard; they are not works by those artists or copies of specific paintings. Each one draws on the region, the grape or the story of the wine, and does not reproduce or imitate the label, logo or any brand of the winery. The small photos marked «Photo: Christian» are bottles photographed by Christian.

Accessory paintings

Each accessory has its own original painting made for this site, in the style of painters such as Chardin, Heda, Manet or Hopper, showing what that specific product looks like (shape, materials, proportions), based on its public shop or manufacturer photos. They are painted interpretations, not photos: they do not reproduce brands, logos or labels, and some details may differ. Check the shop listing for the exact model.
