Clos Naudin Vouvray Sec 2024

Domaine du Clos Naudin (Philippe Foreau) · 100% Chenin Blanc

Tasting notes

According to Vinatis: Chenin from vines around 40 years old on clay-siliceous soils; no malolactic fermentation to keep the acidity, and 6–8 months in 300-litre barrels with very little new oak; a mineral nose of stone and flint, citrus and green notes; a lively, vertical palate able to age for decades. Serve at about 10 °C. 13% ABV.

Pairing

Fish in sauce, poultry, goat's cheeses.
