A red from vineyards in Laguardia and Elvillar: red fruit, fine spice and grippy tannins, held up by lovely acidity. The gateway to the López de Lacalle family's wines.

Chargrilled lamb chops and T-bone steak, duck breast, grilled vegetables.

Cheese: Aged Idiazábal and aged Manchego
