Sangiovese from the Tuscan Maremma. Vinatis quotes Robert Parker ("the greatness of many Brunellos") and describes plenty of sour cherry with fine, never showy oak, good density, almost melted tannins and ripe, straight fruit; it benefits from an hour in a decanter. 14.5% ABV.
