A Tempranillo from 1950s vines, at 780–820 m, aged in barrels that previously held whisky. According to the winery: ripe black fruit, spice, chocolate and smoke, with a round, creamy texture. 15 % ABV.
Pairing
Red meat, game stews and aged cheeses (according to the winery).
Cheese: Aged Zamorano and aged Manchego
