Tasting notes

Tinto Fino from bush vines in Pedrosa de Duero (Burgos), at 840 m, on clay-limestone soils. 24 months in American and French oak and at least 12 in bottle. Ripe black fruit, plum, cassis, spice and a hint of truffle; broad, fleshy and with fine tannins. 2021 vintage: 94 Parker and 94 Peñín. 13.5% ABV.

Pairing

Roast milk-fed lamb, dry-aged red meat from the grill, big game and Castilian bean stews.

Cheese: Extra-aged Manchego and Gamonéu
